Jimmy Tompkins | Founder & Operator
Jimmy is the owner and operator of JT’s Landscaping and Lawn Care. His love for working outdoors and enhancing landscapes naturally drew him to the landscape industry. He founded this company from modest beginnings and it has turned out to be his life’s passion. Jimmy has been working in the landscape industry for over 12 years. He has worked diligently to grow his company into a success by maintaining a small business feel while continuously staying competitive with the corporate industry. Jimmy attended North Carolina State University studying Landscape Design, Turfgrass Management, and Horticulture. Jimmy’s creativity and enthusiasm has lead to designing and installing some the most noticeable landscapes in North Carolina. His daily responsibilities are to oversee all landscape maintenance accounts as well as directly coordinate and oversee all landscape design and installation projects. With a close attention to detail of all work performed by his employees, Jimmy ensures the highest quality with 100% customer satisfaction
Andrew Erdman | Plant Health & Lawn Care Coordinator
Growing up in North Carolina, Andrew was always involved in the agriculture industry. During his late teen years, he found his knack in the green industry working for a lawn care and landscaping firm. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University’s prestigious Turfgrass Management program. Upon graduation, Andrew worked with Bayer Environmental Science conducting turf research to include but not limited to the use of pesticides, herbicides, turf types, irrigation and their affects on the turf grass, plant material and the environment. His valuable experiences have made him a tremendous asset to JT’s Landscaping. The knowledge he brings to the turf care and plant health care industry help JT’s Landscaping stay above the competition by adjusting to local weather and environmental conditions.
Brian Scott | Landscape Management Supervisor
Brian joined JT's Landscaping in March of 2008 to help manage the growing and successful Landscape Maintenance division. Brian was raised in the Triangle, where he has developed a love for North Carolina's unique agriculture and people. His love of the outdoors, combined with his attention to detail, has made Brian an excellent addition to the JT's Landscaping team. He looks forward to working with all of his clients to achieve the best landscape possible.
Kristin Tompkins | Office Manager
Kristin handles all the day to day operations and oversees all accounting tasks and scheduling. Kristin also works very close with clients when permits are required.
