Tall Fescue Schedule

First Treatment | February & March
We begin our program with a herbicide that will protect your lawn from summer annual weeds such as crabgrass. We all also use fertilizer at this time to jump start the growing process.

Second Treatment | April & May
We apply a herbicide that will keep summer weeds from emerging as well as kill any existing weeds in your lawn. Another fertilizer is applied to continue to feed your actively growing lawn. In May, we begin our grub control program. Ask us about this optional program!

Third Treatment | June
At this time, we apply lime to correct the pH levels in your soil. We also spot treat any weeds that may be present such as crabgrass and nutsedge. We begin our fungicide program to protect your lawn from brown patch and other fungal diseases. Ask us about this optional program.

Fourth Treatment | July
As we are monitoring the weed growth, we apply an organic supplement to your lawn to help it green up. The second fungicide application is made at this time.

Fifth Treatment | August
We are continuing to monitor the weed growth in your lawn. At this time, we apply the second organic supplement. The third fungicide is applied for controlling brown patch disease.

Sixth Treatment | September & October
This is the time of year we focus on helping your lawn recover from the stress of summer. We aerate and over seed to allow for new growth making your lawn thick and healthy. If necessary, we make a late season fungicide application to clean up any remains from brown patch disease.

Seventh Treatment | November
We apply the final fertilizer at this time. Any weeds that are present can be taken care of in conjunction with the fertilizer.
